Regarding Network upgradation
hi,
We have our office network with all security enable prodcuts we need to add managed L2 switches with our network for creating VLANS floor wise . are these switches are compatible with sonic firwall or we can use this firewall as a L3 Switch for distribution network purpose.
Secondly which switches are more in secured form for network security.
pls. reply

Re: Regarding Network upgradation
Hi shelendra1jain,
Deciding which switches to get really depends on the functionality you require, do you require specific QoS features? specific authentication mechanisms?
A switch is only as secure as the network admin makes it. Take a look at the HP switch portfolio and look at the feature sets of the L2 switches. From the perspective of VLANing, all the HP managed switches will have this functionality, so take some time to understand what you require and make your decision based your "security" criteria.
HTH.
