Stacking / Switch-To-Switch Trunking ??? 2910al
Hi,
we've got 2x 2910al-48g Switches at our backend, now I wan't to configure a stacking of both switches, so that my server is connected with NIC1 to Switch1 and with NIC2 to Switch2, both Switches are connected with a Interconnect Kit. If all Switches are Online, I wan't to have a LoadBalancing betwenn both NIC's after failure of one Switch, the Network Traffic should run on the remaining one. I have read, that this will be available with Software 15.05, but haven't found any Stacking feature which was mentioned in this Link http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/ProCurve-ProVision-Based/procurve-2910al-48G-interconnect-with-fail-over-uplinks-amp/td-p/4827877 from a HP Supporter. Can you explain me, how this will work?
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Stacking / Switch-To-Switch Trunking ??? 2910al
I believe the post was talking about enhancements to K series switches, the slightly higher end ones discussed. I don't think it helps you on the 2910 at all.
