Re: Upgrade 5406zl
"Do i need any License after upgrading????"
No. If you already have the Premium License, then you are ok. If you need the features of the PremLic (OSPF, VRRP, Multicast routing, QinQ or IPv6 routing), that is a separate purchased license per unit.
The latest for the ProVision ASIC family (3500/5400/6200/6600/8200) is K.15.02.0005, very new! You will need to do a 2-3 step process to upgrade due to your current ROM ver level. The release notes step you through the process.

Re: Upgrade 5406zl
"1)I have uploaded the software as a secondary image on a switch,i want to reload the switch to boot with secondary image if suppose it fails to boot"
execute a 'boot system flash secondary', if it fails, the switch will reboot back to primary.
"3)I m trying to boot by K_14_49m.swi and after sucessful upgrade to K_14_49m.swi i will try to boot by K_15_02_0005.swi is it compatible with the below ROM version."
read the release notes for k.15, page 16, it says which ROM ver you need to be at.
"4)What is the command to see enough memmory for these images??"
Not an issue, memory is fixed and there is enough.
