Is there a downside for ports to belong to many vlans? I know why you use vlans and how they are segmented and why they are segmented, but I didnt know if realistically mattered if a port belonged to lets say 3 different VLANS. I imagine it would be a performance hit, right? I dont need a lecture on vlans I am just curious about ports and being members of multiple vlans and performance.
