8602B HBA behavior
Hi all,
We have 6 servers equipped with dual HBAs 8602 connected to a Silkworm 16 port switch, and then to a VA7400.
Servers are running Win NT 4.0 SP6a, with Autopath 1.03 and AFCNT4.sys version 3.0.4107.0
Problem is: if I lose connection on one link, the HBA is deactivated even when the link comes back up again. Is that normal behavior ??

Re: 8602B HBA behavior
That's NT for ya! It's an issue with the NT that might be fixed with veritas or a reboot.

Re: 8602B HBA behavior
Problem is identical with w2k and the same plateform.
Autopath exist now in V1.04 release and beta drivers 4408 for D8602B are not yet totaly ready (still beta version)
I have try them...same problem fort the moment.
Try, if you're able, Qlogic HBA...
Regards
Didier.
