Re: About ioscan -fnCdisk results NO_HW in SAN environment.
The MSA SAN switch 6 cannot be connected to any other switch (it's not Brocade, McData or Cisco), cannot interact with your other switches.
That switch was sold as a cheap option but do not expect too much from it: almost no documentation, no fimware updates...

Re: About ioscan -fnCdisk results NO_HW in SAN environment.
From what you say,i have no way to merge them in proper working order.
and i found this information (http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0BRZ/is_12_20/ai_77081850/)
Is this information indicate if they are both have FC-SW-2 open fabric standard? then they
will working normally.

SolutionThis was sold for customers with small environments (maximum 5 servers). If you're going to use an external Brocade switch, you can try to replace the SAN Switch 6 with an FC I/O module.
