Hi guys
Can anyone help me pls? We have an EVA5000 and i'm trying to access the controller and termination event logs on the management appliance but for some reason i cannot access the Storage sub system logs. When i go to HSG element manager I'm presented with the "HSG introduction page" put if i click on "HSG network" icon on the left pane menu-nothing happens. Can anyone advise what the problem is? (pls see attached screen dump)

Re: Accessing Storage Sub System Logs
Hi.
Well, first of all, I would change "Automanage" to ENABLED.
If that doesn't make it work, then make sure your EMA is in SCSI-3 mode, otherwise you'll need to assign a unit as the Command Console LUN.
Let's see how that works for you.

Nevermind that last email. I didn't read carefully enough....
You say you have an EVA5000, but you are going into the HSG Element Manager. That is the wrong place. You need to go into Command View EVA, or if you haven't upgraded to that version of the management appliance yet, it used to be called "HSV Element Manager"...not HSG. HSV.
Sorry about not reading your message closely enough.
