add disks to eva5000

Can someone tell me how to add disks (1 to each
shelf) in an eva5000.

I have 2 disks groups.
do i have to add them all to one group or can i spread them over the 2 groups.

(in what manual is this explained ?)

You can insert the disks in the shelf waiting at least one minute between them.

You should ensure that the disks have the latest firmware before gouping them. Contact support for this.

I also had a recomendation that you should wait 24 hours after installing the disks and before groupping the disk, this will ensure that the disks are working correctly for an apropiate ammount of time.

You can group the disks to any disk group that you want. Try to keep the disk group with even ammount of disks.
