AUTOPATH : LUN collision occured at:
Greetings,
This morning in my syslog I started receiving the following errors, which I've never seen before and can't find any mention of on the ITRC.
Nov 13 08:04:47 rachp1 vmunix: AUTOPATH : LUN collision occurred at:c213t5d0
Nov 13 08:04:47 rachp1 vmunix: AUTOPATH : LUN collision occurred at:c225t5d0
Nov 13 08:04:47 rachp1 vmunix: AUTOPATH : LUN collision occurred at:c217t5d0
Nov 13 08:04:47 rachp1 vmunix: AUTOPATH : LUN collision occurred at:c221t5d0
Nov 13 08:04:48 rachp1 vmunix: AUTOPATH : All the paths to the end device 0x1fe0a400 failed!
Anybody have any idea what this error means and how I can find out what the end device actually is? Is it something on the SAN or is it the HBA on the server? Or is it the actual physical disk on the SAN?
All help is appreciated.

Re: AUTOPATH : LUN collision occured at:
Hello,
this seems to be a well known problem, which is suspected to occur when manually switch/add/remove disks.
What can be done to fix/void this issue is :
Update the Autopath ==> upgrade to SP3
Extract from release note
DESCRIPTION
HP StorageWorks Secure Path for HP-UX Software is a server-based product that enhances HP StorageWorks RAID array storage systems by providing automatic path recovery from server-to-storage system connection failures. Secure Path supports multiple I/O paths between host and storage, which improves overall data availability. If any component in a path between host and storage fails, Secure Path redirects I/O requests to an alternate path.
Secure Path 3.0F Service Pack 3 supports all the features available in the earlier versions. It also supports a range of new features and new HP arrays. This product release is an update and requires that an existing Secure Path for HP-UX installation is in place on the server in order to be installed.
