Calculate total storage on assigned to a server

1) Is there a way to calculate the storage assigned to a particular server regardless of vendor.

2) Is there a way to calculate the storage assigned to a particular server if the storage is on an HP XP array?

3) Does anyone have a script to do this?

1) No, there isn't. For example, different storage arrays use different implementations for RAID-5 (e.g. XP: 3D+1P and 7D+1P?, EVA: 4D+1P, MSA/HSG: nD+1P).
