Cannot See EMC Disks
Anyone seen this before - EMC are stumped at the moment.
Mix of RP8420 and RP3440 systems FC connected via switches to an EMC DMX801 array.
HP-UX 11.11 December 2004 with all patch bundles June 2004 on all hosts.
RP8420s have 2 x A9784A Combo SAN/LAN cards and the RP3440 have dual ported A6826A cards, all at driver versuion 11.11.03.
PowerPath 4.2.0 installed on all hosts.
All I can see are the 23Mb devices that hold the VCM database, down all paths.
We have tripled checked zoning and masking.
A SUN V440 on the same SAN can see its disks happily.
Its 17:40 on Friday afternoon here, so any help is GREATLY appreciated!
Cheers,
Tony.
