Command View EVA 6.0 upgrade license
Hello,
I need to upgrade a EVA4000 XCS from version 6000 to version 6220. Part of this upgrade I would need to upgrade the Command view EVA from 6.0 to 8.0.2 (at least). I will be upgrading to 9.1 .
I know that from CV EVA 7.0 there was a new licensing scheme for the CV EVA. I would need to upgrade the current licenses I have of CV EVA 6.0 to the new ones to install 9.1 . How is this possible?
Thanks,
Vince

Re: Command View EVA 6.0 upgrade license
In the past, HP did issue a new "ordernumber" which was used to request an autopass-style license. If your contracts are well-maintained, you should have received this number a long time ago. These days, I've heard, it is possible to do this through HP's software update manager web pages (sorry, never did it myself). If the entries are not present, I am afraid you have to talk with the support contract organization - good luck!

Re: Command View EVA 6.0 upgrade license
hi,
as i remember, you must ask for the CV upgrade to your HP support, which will send you the CV media, and the order number to generate the CV licences for CV 7+.
Hope This help
Georges.
