Deleting device files from other vendors storage array in 11iv3
Am having difficulty getting another SAN vendor to tell me how to cleanup a SAN Device on 11iv3 now it is unpresented.
STATUS INFORMATION FOR LUN : /dev/rdisk/disk93
Generic Status Information
SCSI services internal state = UNOPEN
Device type = Direct_Access
EVPD page 0x83 description code = 1
EVPD page 0x83 description association = 0
EVPD page 0x83 description type = 3
World Wide Identifier (WWID) = 0x6006016024d0250080433a695837df11
Serial number = ""
Vendor id = ""
Product id = ""
Product revision = ""
Other properties = ""
SPC protocol revision = 0
Open count (includes chr/blk/pass-thru/class) = 0
Raw open count (includes class/pass-thru) = 0
Pass-thru opens = 0
I have tried to delete this usign "scsimgr replace_wwid -D /dev/rdisk/disk93" which seemed to hang. The disk has already been unpresented and deleted, should this scsimgr command have been done before that? Have I specified the right device file?
