Documentation about HPUX vs FC DISks
Hi, Could some one point me to some documentation, about how HPUX servers can be configured with FC Disk Arrays. Like for my previous question Eugeny pointed out to use ioscan. But is there any documentation for such stuff,
Basically configuring a HPUX server in a SAN Attached storage, grrr I still need answer to my other posting.

Re: Documentation about HPUX vs FC DISks
Hi,
here is a good link on the itrc.
http://www4.itrc.hp.com/service/iv/docDisplay.do?docId=/DE_SW_UX_swrec_EN_01_E/FibreChannel.pdf
if this does not work, go under itrc
navigate knowledge trees and response center FAQs
there is :HP-UX Software Recovery Handbook
and look into the chapter Fibrechannel
Rgds,
Claudiu

Re: Documentation about HPUX vs FC DISks
Hi Sam
What kind of storage you are going to use with HP-UX system.
What kind of HBA going to be used ?(1G / 2G)
Are you going to connect with FC switch or hub?
whether it would be hetrogeneous environment or homogeneous?
What kind of FC storage going to be used ??( VA or XP or EVA ????
This all matters.
Thanks & Regards
Nixon
