Emulex LP1205e doesn't see SAN disks at EFI

I've tried setting the EfiFcScanLevel to both "1" and to "Discovered". Reconnect -r doesn't even appear to poll the fibre channel inferfaces. any ideas?

I Dont have the answer but the 1205's are picky little adapters
