Re: EVA 3000
First you need to get your EVA 3000 setup before you can setup your MS cluster.
From the storage controllers viewpoint, your MS cluster is just another set of HOST systems that it is presenting storage to.
Can you open the "Command View EVA" window from your San appliance browser window? Do you see your EVA there? Is it already Initialized?
After your EVA3000 is initialized and you have created your disk group(s), you will then perform the following.
1.) Create the Vdisk(s).
2.) Create the host(s).
3.) Present the Vdisk(s) to the Host(s).
Repeat as necessary...
While this outline is not detailed, it is because I do the same basic steps for presenting EVA storage to my VMS, AIX, and MS servers. After the EVA space is created, then I go about doing the OS level stuff.
Your Cluster configuration is something that you will configure on your W2K servers, Not on the Appliance/EVA. The EVA is just providing you storage space. It has no idea if your hosts are a cluster or not. Nor does it care.
