EVA4400 cache battery repair

It seems difficult to still get new EVA4400 (HSV300) cache batteries. They are end of life and the used ones are possibly as bad as the ones you try to change.

I found a method to repair them.... and made a video about it:

The problem is that there is a microcontroller inside the battery module that remembers the failed state of the module. Changing the lithium cells alone does not fix it. The microcontroller must be reset to "factory defaults". In the video you can see how it's been done. I hope I've done it right.... at least my repaired modules work!
