EVA5000 and firewall

is there any implications in configuring one server to the EVA5000 and a firewall inbetween?

Well all trafic between EVA and server is purely FC so... Maybe you mean isolatim SMA with Firewall...Elaborate a bit more....

The EVA5000 needs an ip-adress when setting up the host in it, is that any problem when having a firewall inbetween?
i should like to see any doc's about it like the OVSAM installation Guide, configuring firewall support as an example.

I have never entered an IP address - everything worked fine so far.
