EVAPerf fn - fnames.conf doesn't update
When I try to update the friendly names list, the update doesn't work. As suggested in another thread, I've confirmed EVAPerf can see the CV server and the storage arrays.
How should I troubleshoot this issue? We are using CV 8.0.2

Re: EVAPerf fn - fnames.conf doesn't update
Did you do a
evaperf fnh localhost "username"
first? (localhost assumes you're on the SAN management server).
You should be prompted for a password, and the username specified should be in the HP Storage Admins or HP Storage Users group as well. Try that before doing the evaperf fn.

Re: EVAPerf fn - fnames.conf doesn't update
Got it working!
Even though I was authenticating with the local admin, the local administrator has to be in the HP Storage Admins group.
As soon as I added the user to the group, everything worked perfect.
