How to update ACS V8.7-0?
Hi,
Here is my configuration :
- MA8000
- 2 HSG80 controllers, V8.7S-0
I would like to update my controller firmware version. How can I proceed?
It is possible to update the code with the Mannapp browser right?
Is the latest support code V8.7-4?
I have downloaded patchs V8.7-2, V8.7-3, V8.7-4
But I didn't find V8.7-1!!
Can anyone have an idea?
Regards,
Maurice

Re: How to update ACS V8.7-0?
There should have been an all-inclusive patch script to go from 8.7-0 to 8.7-4 in the 8.7-4 patch kit.
-
At least that was the way they released stuff in the 8.6 versions.

Re: How to update ACS V8.7-0?
Hello Maurice,
Most minor updates are able to be loaded by a script. However occasionally there is a release that requires an entire new image ie a new PCMCIA card.
V8.7-1 is an entire new PCMCIA card so you need to talk to your local customer support organisation to get this card which contains V8.7-1. If you have a software update contract you should have been sent this automatically.
Once you have 8.7-1 you can use the scripts to update to the later patches throught the serial console.
