HP MPIO
Hi,
in a server Blade 460C with FC Qlogic 2340 windows 2003 Server STD Edition SP2, to connect to EVA8000 I installed:
1 - HP_MPIO_Full_Featured_DSM_for_EVA_v2.00.01
2-Upgrade_MPIO_Full_Featured_DSM_for_EVAv2.00.02
3 - HPMPIODSMManagerv1.02.00
4 - HPMPIODSMManagerUpgradev2.00.00
5 - restart the server
6 - I attached the FC Qlogic 2340
7 - I submitted de LUN of the SAN EVA8000
It seemed all ok, but after the restart, I didn't see the LUN, i didn't see the Fibre Channel, nothing..
If I remove all HP Software (HPMPIO) I see again the driver of FC and the LUN!
The driver of Q2340 is 9.1.3.16
Could anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.
Luca

Re: HP MPIO
You need v2.01.00 for an EVA8000
You used the wrong version

Re: HP MPIO
I tried to install the new version of HP MPIO (v2.01.00), but nothing is changed..
I lost LUN and FC driver, if I remove the software (HP MPIO), I see again the LUN of EVA8000 and the FC driver.
thank you very much.
