I need connect a Linux server to a VA7400, preferably with HBA failover like I have with HP-UX. The VA7400 Owner's Guide states that HBA failover with Linux is NOT supported, but an old AutoPath VA white paper seems to indicate that it is supported. Unfortunately, AutoPath is not longer available from HP. Any ideas?

Hi,
if you use qlogic fc card you can use failover which is build in driver - it is supported for VA arrays.
look at page:

Thanks... I read the parent page earlier today, but did not see VA support and moved on... http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/sanworks/softwaredrivers/multipathoptions/linux.html. Both links listed additional support, including the VA family.
