Is there any performance penalty within the 100% utilization of the diskgroups into a EVA8000?

Hello all,

We're short of space into some systems and we need to increase the space asigned to them. This will mean that several diskgroups of the EVA8000 will have a 100% utilization.

Will we suffer for any performance issue? Is there any recommended free space for a diskgroup?

Of course we are planning to increase the number opf physical disk, however in the meantime the diskgroups will be completed used.

Any other recomendations?

Thanks in advance.

These days, you should leave about 5 or 10 raw GigaBytes free per disk group. That allows the EVA to have some room for leveling operations.
