LUN presented as the first disk in Disk Administrator
c-class blade encolsure with eva4000. when you present a LUN to a blade from the eva, you see it as the first disk in Windows disk admin. it then moves the C: drive to disk 2. when using RDP it try's to image the LUN and not the C: drive.
does anone know how to change the disk in disk admin, or has seen this before.
thanks

Re: LUN presented as the first disk in Disk Administrator
This is not the behaviour I have seen when presenting disks from a EVA to a server, disk C: is not modified.
Can you try to pressent the disk with another LUN? (In the present tab, there's an option to change the LUN number)

Re: LUN presented as the first disk in Disk Administrator
doesn't seem to make any difference changing the LUN.
I put EVA's in all the time and haven't seem this before, either. it is on a customers site

Re: LUN presented as the first disk in Disk Administrator
I am experancing this too.
when ever there is a vdisk presented to the blade I try to either deploy to/image from the default scripts always use the FC drives. not the local one
