Re: Netware 6.5 and Secure Path 3.0C

Netware 6.5 and Secure Path 3.0C

I get the following message on the logger screen of my Netware 6.5 SP3 server approx. every 4 minutes:

CPQSPAGT: WARNING: SPCL unable to process undefined command

I was not able to find information about this message anywhere.

Aside from this, everything seems to be working.

I use the following:

Hardware:
Proliant DL380G3
Qlogic HBAFC latest firmware
EVA 3000

Software:
Netware 6.5 SP3
HPQSP.CDM ver 0.11.25 30 June 2004
HPQSPAHW.NLM ver 2.01 22 July 2002
HPQSPAGT.NLM ver 2.01 22 July 2002
QL2300.HAM ver 6.80.06 15 July 2004

Re: Netware 6.5 and Secure Path 3.0C

I don't work with NetWare, but there is a service pack for Secure Path you might try:
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/sanworks/softwaredrivers/securepath/spnwv30c_sp2-1.html
.

Re: Netware 6.5 and Secure Path 3.0C

Thank you but that patch is already installed on all our systems.

Additional info:

The warning message appears only when the servers communicate with the secure path manager computer. If I turn off the SPM computer OR unload the HPQSPAGT.NLM on the server, the warning message does NOT appear. It seems to have to do with the communication between the HPQSPAGT.NLM and SPM. By the way, I am using the latest SPM v4.0C sp1.

Did you ever find an answer to this question? I've a server that's experiencing the same error message when SecurePath Manager accesses the server: Warning SPCL unable to process undefined command
