New to command view eva
My group is new to our EVA500 hardware and CVEVA... can someone point us to docs addressing interfacing/querying the EVA with an HPUX command line?

Re: New to command view eva
From HP-UX you can only query for some EVA data like WWN for vdisks.
The tool for this is called "evainfo".

For more internal information and change settings you need to use command view eva from the command view station.
But you can script the functionality with SSSU - this is also available for HP-UX (this tool will connect to the command view server).
Start from here:

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: New to command view eva
Hi,
If you install the multipath drivers you can also use "spmgr" [VCS V3.xx] & "autopath" [VCS V4.xx and all XCS]for some info and load balancing.
