P2000 G3 Controller problem

Hi All,

After firmware upgrade on brand new P2000 G3 we can't connect to both controller A & B through the network.

Log in attachment.

Thanks in advance,

BR,

Re: P2000 G3 Controller problem

In eventlog there is Error with code 61, Event deskription: Disk channel failure. This may indicate a hardware failure, but the controller will attempr to recover. Event context: 0x00110000

Maybe the password was reset to default?

Happened here once...

Re: P2000 G3 Controller problem

Hi, what do you mean through the network?

Through fibre channel, iSCSI or SAS? I presume management interface works because you got the logs that way.

And yeah, those events you mentioned there are seen a lot in the logs. Seems like it is the connection between controller and the internal disk channels.
I'm too lazy to grab genlogs from the support cd - to parse the logfile and make the .xml easier to read.
So, do you have any extra disk shelf attached?
Maybe start with disconnecting that in that case.

I would try to reseat both controllers (do it when it's turned off).

T201P02 is the latest firmware anyway.
