ql2300 the driver detected a controller error \device\raidport0

Hi,

i try to resolve this problem on cluster windows 2003 SP2 platform (EVA6100, Switch Brocade 4/32,blade bl460c(ql2300).

the customer has installed MPIO 2.01.01 for Eva and MPIO 1.0.xx for MSA because a msa1000 is connected to the san ,but no lun from the msa is presented.

is possible that 2 MPIO products can cause this pb ?

Hi,
yes sure, because the EVA6100 is active/active controller - it uses the full featured MPIO (latest is DSM 3.x) and the MSA usualy uses the A/P firmware - till the 7.xx version and thats why it needs the MPIO basic version - which is DSM 1.x.

The basic MPIO does not provide coexistence support with another multipath filter.
