RA8000 with FC2101

I am going to replace the original FC HBA on two PL5500 with FC2101. There is also a new 2 Gb switch. As far as I can see there should be no problem but .........

Has anyone done this and if so, did it work OK ??
What probs. if any.

I have not tried that exact combination, but I have swapped components in the past with success. Remember that the FCA2101 will have a different WWN than your current adapter, so you need to check and perhaps adjust the connections and storage presentation on your RA8000 and/or any zoning on the fibre channel switch.

I strongly recommend that you make sure that all software levels (RA8000 ACS version, switch firmware, adapter firmware, adapter driver and, if you use it: Secure Path) are on a supported level.
