Recovering from a failed Veritas DMP Implementation
We are looking at installing Veritas DMP across 4 clusters in our production site. As a contingency plan, we are preparing for the worst case scenerio (within reason).
Has anyone ever run their environment without any Pathing Software installed. i.e Secure Path or DMP ?
Without using Secure Path or a 3rd party solution to pathing, what type of problems might you see ?
:: Configuration ::
4) 2/16 Fabric Switches Cascaded
6 Luns presented to 8 nodes in a multi cluster
Standard HA (2 HBA's per server, preferred multi-pathing to the controllers, transparent failover etc.)
If more information is needed please ask.
