replacing faulty HSG80 - Configuration
Sorry chaps, I should really have included this in the last question, but here goes..
When you replace an HSG80 in a "multibus failover" config, does the SET MULTIBUS_FAILOVER COPY=THIS command also copy the other configuration info to the new controller, such as Units, Connections and Disk info? Or should you do a RUN CONFIG or something before setting the dual-redundant config?
thanks - lawrence bowen

Re: replacing faulty HSG80 - Configuration
After finishing your RUN FRUTIL to replace the faulty controller, you execute the SET MULTIBUS COPY=THIS from the good storage controller. Your entire configuration for the replaced controller will be overwritten from the good controller.
I have done this about 1/2 dozen times in the last 3 years. (controller replacement)
