Replication Solution Manager Help
Hi there
We have an EVA5000 in windows 2003. We want to use snapshots in our live environment and have a 2TB business copy license. We used to have business copy installed on our SMA but since a firmware upgrade to code V3028 we have not reinstalled it on the SMA.
My questions are:
Does Business copy still exist as a single product or is it now part of RSM?
How do we install RSM/business copy onto the SMA? Is it a simple process?
Do we need to purchase additional licenses for the use of RSM? We have a 2TB license for BC but will this suffice when using RSM?
I can't find any installation or setup info on RSM only day to day admin operations guide so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Many thanks
Tony

Re: Replication Solution Manager Help
RSM is a GUI inteface to Business Copy and Continuous Access. No license is needed to install or use RSM and it is downloadable. You do however need the BC license and/or CA license to utilize those features. (which you have already). It is the single product you can use for control over BC/CA.
Installing RSM is a simple process. Grab the file from the HP website, and install it. It is NOT a SAN Applicane application so you install it in the regular fashion on a Windows Server.
