I am wondering what the proper configuration is for Multi-Pathing setup on Netware 6.5.
Netware 6.5 has built in multi-pathing capabilities... should it be turned on or off when Secure Path has been installed.
Also, what are the proper settings for the QL2300.HAM that should be present in the STARTUP.NCF when Secure Path is installed?
Thank you,
Jonathan

Re: Secure Path on Netware 6.5
I haven't seen any comment about NetWare's own multipathing, but I would turn it off.
Secure Path creates a new virtual adapter through which it presents the LUNs. I am not a NW specialist, but one of my colleagues has installed Secure Path this week and from a short peek at the screen I recall that the SP installation uncomments old entries and makes new ones in a file - might indeed be STARTUP.NCF

Solution
NetWare multipathing is not supported by HP on an EVA or EMA, so you should turn it off.
The use of HP Secure Path with an EVA or EMA is mandatory.
After Secure Path installation, check the startup.ncf for the "old" QLxxxx entries and remark them.
SP adds extra options to the load command of the QLxxxx drivers.
