Hi everybody
I've still got those RA4100 SAN Solution running with SecurePath 3.1a SP1.
But now that SP4 for Win2k is only supported from SecurePath4.0 on, I need to upgrade at least the SecurePath software.
Unfortunately I can't realy see any compatibility statements running the RA4100 with the latest SecurePath Version, which would be 4.0c, on HP's site...
Can anyone confirm it will work with my configuration?
TIA
Lyndon

Solution
You can use Secure Path 3.1a with SP4. Check out this web link to get all of the driver/firmware details (look in the first colimn for Supported Configuration #1).
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/solutions/enterprise/ha/microsoft/RA4100_012303.pdf
And for future planning, there are no current plans to support the RA4100 with Secure Path 4 - it will maintain support with 3.1. However, if you are planning to upgrade to Windows Server 2003, you will need to upgrade to a special version of Secure Path (3.1c) which will only be available via a special ProLiant HA/F200 Cluster Kit for RA4100 and Windows Server 2003. This new version of Secure Path (supporting RA4100 and Win2003) will be available for purchase starting Nov. 17. You can get more info at that time at the following link:

Thanks,
Doug
