Silkworm 2800 Web Tools

Hi:

When trying to connect via HTTP to Web Tools on a Brocade 2800 Silwork Fibre Switch the screen shows "polled at", "Ethernet Mask" etc ... as not available. What do we need to enable it? On checking the licensing we do have a Web Tools license on all our switches.

If you make any changes to the Ethernet Subnetmask, be sure to restart the browser or your changes will not be available.

The "polled at" wil not show up either until it can successfully perform a status check.

Could it be that you configured this but need to restart the browser?

Phil,
Check page 129 here for entry of the subnetmask

The subnet mask has not been changed at all.

How does Web Tools perform a status check? From any machine I can do a SNMPwalk on the switch.

Phil,

See the following pdf document. Go to page 10 and see the note:

It desscribes the polling that occurs and explains what you are seeing.
