Now the "spmgr display" command shows nothing visible. Have I got the right version here? How do I tell what WWN the disk has?

Re: spmgr display not working for EVA VCS 4.100
"discovery" does not seem to be an option for "spmgr", nor is it in the PATH. Is it an extra hidden option?

Hope this helps!

Re: spmgr display not working for EVA VCS 4.100
This is newer, but maybe not the latest:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01683918/c01683918.pdf
HP StorageWorks Secure Path 3.0F Service Pack 4 for HP-UX 11i v1.0 and 11i v2.0
Hope this helps!

Re: spmgr display not working for EVA VCS 4.100
For VCS 4.100 you need to install "Secure Path for active/active storage arrays" (which is based on the pre-merger HP 'AutoPath' product) and the command is 'autopath'.

SolutionYou need to uninstall SP active/passive and rerun the script and select the option active/active.
You can find the latest SP in the below link
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=471465&prodNameId=1825336&swEnvOID=7&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=co-68701-1
then run the below commands
1) ioscan -fnC disk
2) autopath discover ON
3) autopath display
to see the wwn no of the disk you need to give the below command.
fcmsutil /dev/fcdX where X=0/1
or
tdutil /dev/tdX where X=0/1
