SolutionBrocade switches has Default IP address 10.77.77.77
Brocade Directors require more than one IP address on the same subnet, in this case Default IP addresses are
* 10.77.77.77(logical switch 0)
* 10.77.77.76(logical switch 1)
* 10.77.77.75(cp0)
* 10.77.77.74(cp1)
For your case You can try with IP 10.77.77.77
If login is success then issue these command(s)
- ifmodeshow eth0
- ifmodeset eth0 (read for instructions and decide the best)
- ipaddrset
To login the default username is admin and passoword is password
All the best!!

Re: StorageWorks SAN Switch 2/32 (Brocade 3900) 240603-B21 - Cannot Login
I have the same issue and noticed that you were able to gain access through the Null Modem cable. I have not been so lucky. Was there anything else that you did in order to gain access through the serial port? When I connect the cable (Null Modem) to the serial port, using hyperterminal and putty with correct settings, nothing comes up. I can't seem to figure out what I'm missing here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

2) Using Hyperterminal, you will have to play with the connection settings, if I recall correctly, what finally worked for me was (ANSI / ANSIW) combo, something like that.
If the problem remains, let me know and I will try to recall more stuff.
