These VA status levels are as follows:
Rebuild = Re-striping data to one fewer disks
Balance = Re-striping data to one or more additional disks
Optimize = Routines used when in HPAutoRAID mode to reclaim free space by de-fraging R5 and R1 PEGâ s, Demote data from R1 to R5, or to Promote data from R5 to R1
