Re: Wanting to connect Dome to IBM ESS [shark]
Hi,
HBA Supported:
PCI 2 GB Fibre Channel adapter for HP-UX 11i A6795A
PCI-X dual port 2 GB/s Fibre Channel for HP-UX 11i A6826A
For FC drivers, you don't have upgrade, but always recommended:

Your Dome Firmware is also better be upgraded:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=322811&prodNameId=322813&swEnvOID=7&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=PF-CSFW0009
for the steps, upgrade the dome firmware, install the HBA and then upgrade HBA driver.
Regards,
Sandy
