xpinfo creates core dump

Hi,
is there a way to check xpinfo version ?
when issuing the command xpinfo -il it creates

a memory fault ( coredump )

any idea ?

What version of xpinfo?

root# xpinfo -v

HPUX Xpinfo,v 10.00.00 2005-11-09

THis version is the very latest we have (as we've an XP12K)... it works on all except one server where it core dumps and encounters a BUS error.

version 12 should be the latest - ask your HP support.

I suggest copy the new XPINFO one more time (FTP in BINARY mode). Very much possible the file is corrupt. I am using both version 10 and 12, both are stable.

XPINFO is not download-able but you can log a case to HP support centre and they will be able to provide you. Or contact your HP Account Support Manager.
