Hello community,
I have a DL360 Gen 10+ server where I installed HPE VM Essentials, the server has 2 logical arrays, a logical drive with 2 960GB disks in RAID1, where VM Essentials was installed and another logical drive with 4x 960GB RAID5 with 2.6TB usable where I want to store the VMs created.Fig.1
The volume with the provisioned 2.6TB disk is displayed in HPE Manager.
I can't add a Datastore with the 2.6TB mounted disk, where I want to store the created VMs.
Please can someone support me?.

SolutionHello @smendez27!
From the screenshots, it looks like you have your disk online and mounted to /mnt/data/
- In HPE VM Essentials, navigate to your cluster:
Infrastructure > Clusters > click your cluster hyperlink - Click on the Storage tab in the cluster
- Under the Data Stores tab, click the Add button
- You can add a Directory Pool, which you target a directory on the hypervisor to make available to be used by HPE VM Essentials. For example:
- Then click the Save button
- The Datastore will become available to the cluster after that for provisioning
Hope that helps!

Re: Create local Datastore with internal HDD
Hello KoreyG
I appreciate the support, after creating the logical volume I was able to add the Datastore.
Thank you very much!
