How to set up HA / HAの設定方法について

HA の設定箇所が表示されません。

設定条件、設定点を教えてください。

または自動で設定が入ってますか？

インフラストラクチャー＞作成した仮想マシン選択＞アクション＞配置の管理の項目でフェイルオーバーを選択することでHA設定が出来ている認識でしたが、ホストのシャットダウンしても移動が行われません。

I thought that HA settings could be configured by selecting Failover in Infrastructure > Select the created virtual machine > Actions > Manage Configuration, but the host does not move even when shut down.

Hello,  I understand you are testing HA and failover.

Failover:  You can manually migrate a VM from one host to another via:

Provisioning - Instances - Click on your instance - Click the VM of your instance .  Then Actions - Manage Placement.

Here you can specifiy the Hypervisor host you want the VM to run on.  Select a different host, click Save changes.  The VM will move to the new host.

In the same screen you have the "Placement Strategy".  This is your Ha:
- Auto:  VM will move in case of HA to any other host.  It will stay on that host even after original host is back online
- Failover:  VM will move in case of HA to any other host.  VM will move back to original host when host is back online (equivalent with "should run" DRS rule)
- Pinned:  VM will NOT move to any other host in case of HA.  It will only run on this specific host.  (equivalent to "must run" DRS rule).

For HA to work, you need to have shared storage.  It is recommended to have at least 1 shared datastore "Heartbeat enabled" so the failover happens faster.
