HPE VME community edition
Hello,
I've seen a few posts on Linkedin mentioning a community edition. Is this available for download? Where can I find more informations about it? Are there any limitations?
Regards
Andy

Betreff: HPE VME community edition
I just found the link on the HPE Software Center: My HPE Software Center | HPE_MORPHEUS_SW_CMT_ED
Please contact morpheus_communityedition@hpe.com to request a license key for the community edition.
HPE Morpheus Enterprise Community Edition offers core capabilities of the Morpheus orchestration platform in a lightweight, non-production package. It enables users to provision workloads across HPE HVM, VMware, and public cloud environments through a unified interface. With support for blueprint-based automation, governance policy, and integration with popular tools, the Community Edition is ideal for home labs of individual cloud engineers or self-directed proof of concepts (PoC),—providing a no-cost path to experience the power of Morpheus before scaling to full enterprise deployments or HPE supported PoC implementations.

Re: HPE VME community edition
Hi Andy, the HPE VME Community Edition is usually offered as a limited-feature version for trial or learning purposes. It is not always publicly listed for download. Have you checked HPE’s official site or reached out to your HPE account rep for access details?

Re: HPE VME community edition
There is not an HPE Morpheus VM Essentials Community Edition. For those that want to try out VM Essentials, there is the free 60 day trial. Go to the VM Essentials hpe.com product page and click on the "Free Trial" button. That takes you to the My HPE Software Center page where you can download the VM Essentials 60 day trial.
There will also be a HPE Morpheus Enterprise Community Edition. That will be a 3 socket, non-commercial use for home labs and has a few feature limitations. In the next few days, I'll write a post on the HPE Morpheus Enterprise message board more details about that.
