Minimum Cluster size VM Essentials
Why is required for VM Essentials, minimun 3 nodes for HA with iSCSI or Fibre Channel (Shared Storage)? Other solutions like Hyper-V, VMware, works fine with two-nodes in HA.

Re: Minimum Cluster size VM Essentials
Hello,
3 nodes is a minimum for iSCSI/FC because we rely on GFS2 Cluster Filesystem which requires 3 nodes minimum.
You can find another thread here:
https://community.hpe.com/t5/hpe-morpheus-vm-essentials/configure-gfs-in-single-node-instead-of-3-minimum-hpe-vme/td-p/7235413
We do support 2 node clusters with NFS Datastores (also on Simplivity) and with the Alletra 10K Storage Plugin for VME. (where you do not need a shared datastore but every VM has his own volume. An additional NFS Share can be used for Heartbeating)
I hope this helps.
