Network Interface Disappears After Adding a New Disk in VME Essentials

When we attempt to add a new disk (volume) to an existing virtual machine in HPE VME Essentials, the network configuration is lost or network adapter disappears after applying the reconfiguration.

During the “Reconfigure Server” operation, as shown in the screenshot, the network section is visible, but after pressing Reconfigure, the VM loses its network connection.
This issue occurs even when no changes are made to the network section — only a new volume is added.hootingr.image.pngimage.png

Re: Network Interface Disappears After Adding a New Disk in VME Essentials

Hello SevanSardarian,

so far if I see it right, the screenshot is from the HPE VM Essentials VM itself. The VME VM itself is to be handled with different care. Is the issue that you are reporting also happening to other VMs? Also I woudl suggest to have a look if the issue happens with other VMs too over a remote session if you send a mail to  hpe-sw-trial-vmessentials@hpe.com

With regards
