Re-use NFS File Share
I have created a 2nd eval VME cluster and want to use an existing NFS Image File Share. On the 1st cluster I have already imported and built various templates and don't want to have to do that again for the 2nd cluster. Is there a way to "scan" that NFS share and "import" the already created Virtual Images?

Re: Re-use NFS File Share
Unfortunately that is not possible at this moment.... You will have to create a new File Share and reupload your images.

Re: Re-use NFS File Share
Any chance something like this would be on the roadmap? Thanks.

Re: Re-use NFS File Share
Hi,
if we are talking about images like ISO's, qcow2 images or VMDKs been uploaded to the NFSv3 in the FileShare's section there is a way.
You might just open 2 tabs, once to the virtual images and one to the NFS share inside of the morphes-virtual-images folder.
Now when you are adding an existing image(for example an uploaded over the first VME Windows 2022 ISO), you can copy the path from the path from the folder inside of the morpheus-virtual-images in the NFS added File Share. For example we see a folder is named 137 and we know that there is the Windows 2022 ISO inside. We right click folder 137 and say "copy link address"(this is for firefox). Now when you go to Virtual image, select the bucket for the same NFS share holding. There is section called "CREATE IMAGE ID: File URL/PATH, where by default is selected "File". If you select "URL/PATH" and paste the URL that we copied, we need to modify a bit the path. If you look into the path we have to remove everything in front of "/morpheus..". In the end in the path must be only something like /morpheus-virtual-images/137 and save the changes. If you reload the page, you should see that it is uploaded and have the proper size. This works for me in the LAB test for ISO's and qcow2, guess for raw and VMDKs is the same.
