Hi team, Is it possible to install VME on a single host for a client who doesn't currently require high availability (HA) but wants to use HPE virtualization instead of VMware? What are the limitations in this case?
Thanks

SolutionThe simple answer is yes, you can have VM Essentials in a single node without any HA.
The more complete answer is that it will depend on the kind of storage you want to use, the supported architectures would be:
- Local disks: You can use the server's local disks for VM storage
- External NFS datastore: You can mount an external NFS share to use it for your VMs
- External block storage: This is not directly supported, but you could mount an FC or iSCSI LUN directly to the host, mount it in a directory and use that directroy in VME as if it was local storage
