The first one can be bundled with a DL server purchase, or really any non-BladeSystem server. The license will be integrated within the iLO to ease obtaining the license key string. You still need to register the license to activate support.

Functionality speaking they provide the exact same OneView features and include an ILO Advanced license. They are both per server license keys.

I am not sure what you are asking.  To use the advanced functions of OneView (server profiles), you will need a OneView Advanced license of some kind.  Are you looking to buy new servers?  If so, ensure the E5Y34A part is included, and that the quote has the Factory Integration Option (FIO) SKU added.  That way the server ships with the license key embedded as I stated above. Your HPE sales rep should know how to quote that.  Once you receive the server, you will need to add it to the specific OneView appliance you wish to manage it from.  The license key will automatically be discovered during that process.

If you already have servers in production, and you wish to add OneView as an option later, then we would advise you to look at the Flexible Quantity eLicense option (E5Y35AAE).  You will need to then generate the license key by going to the My HPE Enterprise Software portal.  Once the key is generated, you will need to then "install" it on the chosen OneView appliance, by following these steps in the User Guide.

Re: Differnce between two type of HPEOneView License

I know when it says FIO that means the License will ship with server when we are buying new server but I cannot understand while we buy DL580 G10 server how does it include oneview license .

1- Does it mean when we add this server to hpeOneView it will add and license will apply automatically ?

2- Becaue If we had to assign oneview license to DL580 G10 manually so there are not difference between FIO and without FIO . Is that corect ?

Re: Differnce between two type of HPEOneView License

The FIO license is embedded within the iLO NAND flash.  The factory generates the license key number on your behalf and programs it within the iLO.  There is no license key string value you need to add to the OneView appliance when you receive the server.

For individual server purchases, we always recommend the FIO SKU.  For larger purchases, the Flex Quantity SKU would be recommended.  With the Flex SKU, you would get the license key string and need to add it to your appliance as documented in the User Guide that I linked to above.
