Hello,
Just wanted to know what does disabling IPMI over LAN do? Not too familiar and could not understand it through the reference manual.
Thanks!

Re: Disabling IPMI over LAN effects?
IPMI is not used to manage any ProLiant, BladeSystem, Apollo or Synergy system.

Re: Disabling IPMI over LAN effects?
Thanks, Chris. Disabling IPMI in iLO 4 will still allow me to access the iLO, correct?

Re: Disabling IPMI over LAN effects?
Hi,
But what the impact of disabling it? I've external monitoring tools for my servers, this tools can be compromise?
I saw a lot of articles explain how disable the IPMI, but can't find nothing about the impacts.
Thank You
