HPE OneView

Is it possible to Remove all storage systems from HPE OneView, as any user can delete any CPG on that storage system by accident.

Re: HPE OneView

OneView doesn't have the ability to create, change or delete a CPG resource. Storage admin must make any CPG changes through 3Par IMC or Storage Central. So I'm not sure where you are getting the information any OneView user can delete a CPG.

To your question, yes you can. However, any provisioned storage volumes will prevent the removal of the system. You would need to unpresent any storage volumes by removing them from assigned server profiles, then you can remove the volume from OneView. You would use the specific Remove from OneView only so you avoid accidently deleting the volume permanently on the stoage system. You would then have to export the volumes again from the storage management tool.
